    That's the end of the narrow road we travel.
    From the busy highways
    to the roads and alleys,
    to the doddering footbridge,
    our path got ever more narrow
    until we came to the end of the roads
    and stopped to gaze at infinity.

    This post was immediately followed, to my surprise, by the announcement to go on a sabbatical, closing the gates and all, and that was just when I was hoping to get a lot out of this sane asylum! It makes me sad.
