Years back I recall a trip into town with my Granddad. He was crossing the intersection where north crosses south when a guy in a pickup almost ran him over.

The guy yelled, "Watch Out!!".

My Granddad yelled back,"Why you coming back!!?"

What's right with humans?

Birds live in a domain of air. Fish live in the domain of water. Mammals live in the domain of nature. Humankind  has now moved from nature domain to one of languaging. Bad news is, all of our emotional folk wisdom  has evolved in the domain of nature to adapt and survive. In this new domain of languaging/cyber nature, our neural responses are trying at best to adapt to the new stimuli   The brain takes it's job seriously and has all it's pathways open to fulfill the humans need to live. Our nature domain skills that we are now bring into this new virtual domain of languaging is confusing to the mind as it is trying to make adaptations. It's time we begin to make intelligent adaptations. This will have to be a conscience decision. The good news is that humankind has adapted and survived, populated the earth, put trash in outer space and developed tremendous knowledge along the way.

I was recently reminded of a saying byYosemite Sam,"my head hurts". Mine hurts, but I think there are a lot of humans that do give thought to their mental wellbeing and intelligent adaptation to our new stimuli. At least I hope so! If not the Sane Asylum will be losing population.
