Inside The Sane Asylum Series

Occasionally get off the highway and visit those little places where people will actually
talk with you. You will find real characters like the one that lives in the East Texas area. He eats lunch at
Mamas just off of US 79, and on most days you will find him digging for colored glass, or looking for moss on
an ole fallen tree. Old rust is like a day trip to the museum. Seems he is never to distracted to stop and hear the minnows
popping the top of the water. He even has time to stop and take a picture of a Hysterical Site and share it with an
interested friend...so goes life Inside The Sane Asylum...

+C W J'Ville , thanks for the picture...I just wonder...what character may be living on Looney St.

Life Inside The Sane Asylum-Love Shack

Jes Ben Ramblin took me about two hours up the lake and then back some more to find
this histerical water mark. In the middle of nowhere sits The Love Shack. No one was home at
the time, but Jes is determined to find the owners. I will share his findings along the way.

JES B RAMBLING-it is Jes B in present tense and Jes Been in past tense. Jes is a pilgrim and not seen a lot in public, but on occasions he will have something to point out. He usually likes to do nothing and seems he never gets finished of doing nothing. He relates often, that if you never start anything you will never have to finish.  Jes has a gift of finding Hysterical Sites. He will ponder and investigate well  before he documents his findings. He is credited with documenting several pseudo normal sites in The Sane Asylum. The best time to catch one of Jes's post will be when he is wandering around with purpose. In those states he is usually accompanied by our In Resident Photographer, Dado. He likes to piddle around with some of the homesteaders but his whereabouts are usually unknown.

The Sane Asylum Radio

Some will remember a time when a friend would share an album with you and say something like,"I think you might like this", and sure enough you were turned on to your new find for the rest of your life, and in that way, your friend remains with you through your lifetime because of the music you shared.

Mark shares his music in that way. You can't wait to look at the album cover and turn it over and see the story behind the music...enjoy, Ego

Up on Cripple Creek.... The Band. The Band were Bob Dylans backing band for awhile. ....With a New Orleans groove and the unique jaw-harp texture, from Garth Hudson's Clavinet through a wah-wah pedal, vocalist and drummer Levon Helm sings Robbie Robertson's good-time lyrics about a man going to see a free-spirited woman friend of his in, "Lake Charles, Louisiana/Up on Cripple Creek she sends me/If I spring a leak she mends me/I don't have to speak she defends me/A drunkard's dream if I ever did ...

Sound of Mind Series-Enlightment

What will we do when we achieve enlightenment? Always enjoy the reflections of Dorothy Lin...I think you will also...Ego
Dorothy Lin
Are we sure we want to attain enlightenment?

Just imagine you and I had all entered the state of enlightenment. We would be feeling all grateful and blissful and nothing else, not even a trace of negativity or doubt. Then, except for repetitively acknowledging the beauty in all things around us, what else could we talk about?  Most likely, instead of saying anything, we’d be better off just watching some small creek quietly flowing between rocks, or gazing at the white clouds serenely hanging on ...
